Yuko Yamashita Memorial Award
The Yuko Yamashita Memorial Award for the Best Poster Presentation by a Young Researcher is presented each year at Fechner Day, the annual meeting of the International Society for Psychophysics.
The award honors Dr. Yuko Yamashita, Associate Professor at the Shibaura Institute of Technology, who devoted her career to nurturing young researchers until her passing in 2021. It carries her commitment forward by recognizing early-career scientists who, like her, pursue excellence and the advancement of knowledge.
